And even if you do make it past that first filter, the numbers don't get much kinder. Recruiters looking through hundreds of applications for a single role spend, on average, just 6 seconds scanning each CV before deciding whether it's a yes or a no.

It's Not a "You" Problem — It's a Numbers Game

This is the part that's easy to miss when you're in the middle of a job search: the silence you're facing isn't a verdict on your ability. It's the natural result of a system that was never built to actually see you in the first place.

You're not failing at applying. You're playing a numbers game against software and skimmed-through stacks of CVs — a game that was rigged against candidates long before you sent your first application.

So What Actually Changes This?

If the problem is that the system was never built to see people, the real question isn't "how do I write a better CV." It's: what if the process worked the other way around?

What if, instead of sending your CV into a black hole and hoping, employers came looking for you?
