These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Sayrahs — the inverted job marketplace operated by [legal entity name] at sayrahs.com. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Sayrahs, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. If you use Sayrahs on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.

2. Definitions

  • Job Seeker: an individual who creates a profile to be discovered by employers.
  • Company / Private Employer: an organisation or individual that searches for and invites candidates.
  • Profile: the information a Job Seeker publishes to be discoverable.
  • Credits: the units companies and private employers use to reach candidates, such as sending interview invitations.
  • Invitation: a request from an employer asking a Job Seeker to interview or connect.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use Sayrahs, and you must provide accurate, current information. You are responsible for keeping your account details truthful and up to date.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. You must not share your account or let anyone else use it. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. Companies may add team members, who must also comply with these Terms.

5. How the service works

Sayrahs inverts the traditional job hunt. Job Seekers build a profile and, on an active plan, become discoverable to verified employers. Companies and private employers search candidates, build shortlists, and send interview invitations using credits. Job Seekers are not required to apply; they wait to be found and choose how to respond to invitations.

6. Plans, payments & credits

Paid plans and credits are billed through our payment providers: Paddle for international payments and Flutterwave for African payments, selected automatically based on your country. Prices are shown before purchase. Job Seeker plans differ by how many job titles and locations you can be found for; company and private-employer plans differ by the number of credits included per year. No plan ever buys a higher search ranking. Credits are used to reach candidates and may be topped up; unless stated otherwise, credits are valid for your plan period and are not exchangeable for cash.

7. Renewal, cancellation & refunds

Where supported (for example via Paddle), plans may renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled; other payment methods may require manual renewal. You can manage, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time from your Billing & Plan settings. When a plan expires, your account is not suspended — you move to the free tier (Job Seeker profiles are hidden from search; companies and private employers keep their account and any remaining credits) and can reactivate at any time. Refunds, where applicable, are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

8. Verification

To protect Job Seekers, companies and private employers must complete verification before they can search for or contact candidates. We may request business or identity documents, and we may refuse, suspend, or remove any account that fails verification or that we reasonably believe is fraudulent or unsafe.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Provide false, misleading, or impersonating information.
  • Harass, discriminate against, or mislead candidates or other users.
  • Use candidate data for anything other than legitimate recruitment, or contact candidates outside the platform without consent.
  • Scrape, copy, or harvest profiles or data, or attempt to bypass credits, verification, or security.
  • Upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or disrupt the platform.

10. No guarantee of employment

Sayrahs is a platform that helps people be discovered and helps employers find candidates. We do not guarantee that any Job Seeker will be found, invited, interviewed, or hired, or that any employer will find suitable candidates. We are not a party to, and are not responsible for, any employment relationship, interview, offer, or hiring decision made between users.

11. Content & intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as your profile, CV, or company details), and you grant Sayrahs a licence to host, display, and share it as needed to operate the service — for example, showing your profile to verified employers. The Sayrahs platform, brand, and software remain our property and may not be copied or reused without permission.

12. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Sayrahs is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for the conduct of any user, employer, or candidate. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13. Suspension & termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail verification, or use the platform unlawfully or unsafely. Some provisions — such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and governing law — survive termination.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [governing law / jurisdiction], and disputes will be subject to the courts of [jurisdiction], without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.

15. Changes to these terms
